A mini resort featuring three cabins, full kitchens, big bathroom, sleep up to 8. A swimming pool surrounded by a wooden deck, bbq picnic cabana, extra picnic tables and children's playground, a firepit for night fires with comfy furniture to enjoy the fire. Pets welcome A quick eight minute drive down on to the beach. Two minute drive to town. The harbor sits two minutes from here also for loading and unloading your boats. Plenty of parking area. Children and pets are welcome. Located 2 minutes from the Harbor for boat launching and restaurant, shopping but yet out in a beautiful peaceful setting on the intercoastal. The cabin is 500 sq ft, very roomy. The living room has 2 sleeper sofas for extra guests. Tv w/satellite. Full Kitchen with full-size appliances fully stocked with everything you need to cook a great meal. Roomy bathroom with shower, all towels included. The bedroom has 2 full-size beds with TV w/satellite. Free Wifi included. Beautiful 27' above ground pool with wrap around deck and BBQ cabana. Spend the day on the beach (8 minutes from cabin door) and come back and relax in the pool/bbq and watch the amazing sunsets we have here. PET-FRIENDLY!! My name is Patti Ward, and I am the owner/operator of this special place we call JJB Cabins. JJB Cabins was founded in 2016 and named after my pride and joy: Joshua, Johnny, and Brandi. I am a mother of 3 and Mimi to 10 beautiful grandchildren. They are my world and the reason I do what I do. I bought my property in 2003, immediately bought a boat and quickly became the “Matagorda Fishing Lady”. My children loved coming down, going fishing and sharing so many fun and great memories together. In 2009, my life would change forever - my oldest son, Sgt. Joshua Allen Ward, was killed in Iraq on February 9, 2009. My life stopped at that point. After grieving for some time and reconstructing my new life and figuring out where to go from there, JJB Cabins came to light. I decided to add some cabins to my property and host families, fisherman, beach goers, vacationers etc. I wanted to give families a place to stay, where they could make memories like the ones I had. The love for the beach is what brought us here and I truly am passionate in letting others experience this amazing spot. Cabins are set on a half an acre 100 ft. off the intercoastal. This is a quite peaceful road that is located about 2 minutes from town. In town you will find shops, Dollar General, Stanley's home store (carries everything and a deli included) and the Waterfront Restaraunt. Matagorda has a 27 mile beach perfect for fishing, shell hunting, relaxing. There is horseback riding, paddle boarding, kayaking. A bird sanctuary one of the best beaches in Texas. Some great shopping places and restaurants.
