The Beach House @ Playa Pochomil - Entire Property

Our property has 3 houses and sleeps up to 13 total. See our property layout in the images. We are right on the beach. Walk out the front and you are in instantly transported to beautiful Pochomil Beach. The View from the main bedroom balcony is amazing. We have two hammocks there to chill the day away as well as another couple around the property. Surfing is good right in front of the house. We have Boogie Boards and other water toys that are included like snorkles and fins. GREAT LOCATION TO GO SURFING OR BODYBOARDING! Its a hidden Gem of a location no one knows about. We DO have air conditioning in each of the 4 the casitas. Not everyone will want air conditioning so we have a reduced rate and then charge $10 extra per night, per casita for the option to have air conditioning. If you want air conditioning let us know when you arrive and you can pay in cash for the extra fee. When you arrive you will be welcome by made beds with fresh linens as well as fresh fluffy towels and a scented essential oil diffuser puffing a mist of fresh Orange or LemonGrass. Our Wifi is the fastest option possible in the area. The wifi range covers the whole property and you won't have any problems connecting. We have a Netgear Nighthawk Router with added antennas and Yagis to extend the range. We have the highest possible mbps possible anywhere within hours of us. The speed is 20 mbps and even though it sounds a little slow im personally impressed with the connectivity we have on the property. We are able to stream 5 rokus at the same time and/or stream zoom meetings with no delays. We have hardwires that will reach anywhere on the property as a failsafe should you for any reason not get a perfect signal. I myself need a stable connection as I do a lot of digital work and video conferences so I brought equipment from the USA to make the best possible network on the property. There are four houses on the property. The Main House bedroom is on the second floor. The balcony catches the most amazing sunsets over the Pacific every night.. (See Images) The main house has a large bedroom with bathroom that was just redone with rainfall showerhead and all new sink and fixtures. It has hot water and we supply shampoo, conditioner and soaps. The bed is King Size and we have a net that covers the bed to keep out insects if you like to keep the doors to the balcony open at night. The house is the perfect distance from the ocean to hear the waves crashing and lul you to sleep every night. Close the doors and it can be quiet. We have 2 hammocks on the balcony to watch over the beach and ocean all day and night if you choose. The main house also has a small TV with Amazon Firestick so you can watch all your Netflix, Prime Video, UFC and Spectrum programming. In the front yard is our pool which is about 5 ft deep. Next to it is our Jacuzzi. The back Casitas have double beds and on the second floor have bunk beds. Each casita has its own shower and bathroom. We have also another bathroom in the main house ground level where the kitchen and cafe area is. There is also another bathroom in one of the front yard bungalos. In total there are 5 bathrooms. All bedrooms have ceiling fans as well as personal fans to keep you cool at night. We do not have A/C. Our property is surrounded by a 10 ft wall and we have a private area within the property for parking your vehicles. We have a 24-hour groundskeeper named Yerling who lives in an additional casita near the back gate entrance. He is there to maintain the property and to help you with anything you may need. Pool, Jacuzzi, Hammocks, Boogie boards, Snorkels, Fins, Sun, Waves, Sand, Sunsets and Views. I am available always for anything you may have questions about or need help with. Im always striving to receive a 5 star review from our guests. The closest airport is in Managua. Its a 1 hour 15 minute car ride from the airport. There are two main roads that you can travel by. One is a more straight and direct route and the other is more scenic and windy roads thru the mountains. We can advise you directions based on your preference. all Roads are paved and well maintained up until about 1000 ft before you turn to our location. for about 1000 ft you will drive on a small dirt road to the beach. You will arrive to us and our groundskeeper will open the gate for you to help you get sorted. We suggest renting a car. However, if you need a ride from the airport we can organize a taxi service to bring you here. A taxi will be around $65 each way. Please note, we do have security cameras throughout the common areas of the property for yours and our protection. We do have a R/O Water purification setup in the kitchen for plenty of drinking water. We do not suggest drinking the water out of the normal taps. The Ocean directly in front of the property is lined with rocks. We suggest if you are to go swimming directly out front to wear shoes. A short 3-minute walk to the left as you walk out to the Beach and you will find Sandy beaches for a Mile. In the past, we have had guest concerned that the water in the pool is dirty. However, please note that the color of the pool walls is painted a different color under the water line. It is a Turquoise/ Green color and the rest of the pool outside the water is a Baby Blue Color. The water is not dirty. It's just the color of the pool walls :) Additionally. Nicaragua is a 3rd World Country. Do your research on Nicaragua and Pochomil before you come. Do not expect the area to be like Miami Beach. You will see chickens and pigs walking freely and there are not the standard 1st world accommodations in the area. Personally I love this about the area but there are some people and groups that this is not their thing. If our location was in the states the rates would be 5 times higher. Be reasonable with your expectations and keep them in alignment with where you are choosing to visit. If your concerned about everything being spic and span and super clean at all times.. This is not the place for you.
