We have recently renovated it to a high standard with some unique spaces. Inside is cosy and finished, we still have work to do on the exterior. There will be no works while we have AirBnb guests. Its lovely and quiet here. We have 2 bedrooms, one en- suite and another with a private bathroom. There is a huge kitchen diner which guests are welcome to use. There is plenty of seating, a breakfast bar, dining room table and comfy sofa. Breakfast, tea and coffee supplied on a DIY basis. We'll always have museli, granola, toast and preserves, yoghurt, fruit, tea and coffee here. Both bedrooms have private bathrooms. You're welcome to use our stunning new kitchen diner which has an Island, dining table or sofa for comfy seating. We will usually be here during your stay, and will be available if you need us, but also happy to give you space and privacy. We've both lived in this area for years and are happy to give info on walks and local attractions. South Downs Way walking & cycle route This mainly off-road, mountain bike route follows the escarpments and ridges of the South Downs through Sussex and Hampshire, with some breathtaking views along the way. The South Downs Way follows the ancient chalk ridge of the South Downs from Eastbourne to Winchester, and the elevated position makes for some stunning views over the Weald to the north and the English Channel to the south. On the way you can explore ancient monuments, nature reserves and Sites of Special Scientific Interest, as well as picturesque towns and villages. Cyclists can follow the blue, plum and red arrows along the trail. Along the route you’ll have the opportunity to explore the Iron Age hill forts of Old Winchester Hill, Chanctonbury Ring and Devils Dyke. You can also visit Beacon Hill nature reserve and the Seven Sisters country park near Eastbourne. This rugged off-road route begins in Eastbourne, a resort town on England’s southeast coast. Before you set off you can stroll along the seafront and admire the town’s Victorian hotels and 19th-century pier. At the other end of the route, on the edge of England's South Downs National Park, is the city of Winchester. While in Winchester you can visit medieval Winchester Cathedral, which has a 17th-century library and a Norman crypt. Nearby are the ruins of Wolvesey Castle and the Winchester City Mill, a working 18th-century corn mill. The rolling hills of the South Downs offer you gorgeous views of the surrounding countryside as you bike through this lovely corner of southern England. We have a garage to lock bikes away in the evening.
