Bed and Breakfast Near West Point
You have shared access to the first floor of a family friendly home. We welcome anyone supporting the women and men of West Point. A small historic home on 1 acre of cedars, pines, oaks and 2 small ponds. It is next to Bear Mountain and 3 miles from West Point. Near city trains. You have your own bedroom, there is a separate bathroom which is not attached to the bedroom, shared use of a kitchen, living room, deck, and yard. You have shared use of the first floor of the house and yard, but we live in the home. You have a private bedroom, a bathroom that is not attached to the bedroom. shared living/dining area, large kitchen, deck, and yard. The television is in the living room and has Netflix and Amazon. The home is being updated and is older. While we work on the upstairs bathroom and bedrooms we may need to access the lower bathroom. If you stay for more than 4 days we will clean that bathroom, wash your linens, and wash the shower curtain. This is a sanitary issue and our protocol for anyone staying longer term. Bedroom, full bathroom, kitchen, deck, yard, living room/dining area. We are currently doing renovations upstairs but won’t do work while you visit. We are available via text at all times and can be as social as you need. We will also respect your privacy! We are next to beautiful Bear Mountain and a couple of miles from the stunning West Point academy! The area is full of beautiful towns nestled along the Hudson River, with quaint shops, restaurants, breweries, vineyards, farms, and historic homes. We are also a short train ride into the city! You will need a vehicle for nearby attractions or to get to the train. We are set back from the road and offer plenty of parking. We are a short ten minute drive to Metro North for further excursions. Hank is a friendly puppy and will love to say hello. We try to keep him out of the way and he is generally quiet but he is a puppy. Please know you may hear him. No smoking, drug use, or drinking. No parties or events. If we are in the house during your visit, you will hear us walking around. It’s an old house and the floor will creak. Please lock the door after you get in and turn off the outdoor lights. We will never enter your private bedroom but we may go into the bathroom to retrieve items while working on the upper floor. Please don’t eat hot meals in the bedroom. There is a dining room table and a table on the deck (available unless there’s a lot of snow). Please no loud music, live or otherwise, during the week after 10 p.m.
