This is a lovely 1 bedroom lakeside apartment on Lake Lugano enjoying 180 degree lake views and equipped with WIFI, satellite TV and music system. It is within walking distance of shops, restaurants and a boat stop. The property is within a 5 minute walk of the ferry boat landing. The location really doesn't get any better than this and the views from the apartment are stunning. The property itself has been furnished to a good standard and is well equipped. The apartment has wonderful high ceilings, with old structural arches framing the fabulous bay windows that look out over the lake. Bright and airy, it boasts a fully equipped kitchen, bedroom, bathroom and open plan living and dining area. The living area has a sofa allowing the property to sleep up to 3 guests in total. (Please note that this is not a sofa bed but guests are welcome to use the sofa should they wish to as it is quite wide). Doors lead from the living area to a private balcony, equipped with table and chairs. This truly is the perfect spot for an aperitif or to enjoy a romantic meal watching the sun glisten on the lake waters. The owner has furnished and equipped the property to a good standard. There is satellite TV, a music system and DVD library for cost nights in. Guests have use of the entire apartment. There is a local point of contact if you need anything during your stay. We are always on hand to answer any questions you have ahead of your arrival too. But during your stay, we will also ensure that you enjoy absolute privacy within the apartment. San Mamete is a pretty little town on Lake Lugano. This apartment is in a great location right on the lakeside, within walking distance of 3 restaurants, a village store, post office, pharmacy and boat stop. Located just 5 minutes from the Swiss border, the property is an ideal location for those who plan to do some sightseeing during their stay. It's just an hour from Milan and 15 minutes from Lugano. Within a 30 minute drive you can even be on the shores of Lake Como. The property is within a 5 minute walk of the boat stop where you can catch a boat to the other towns and villages on the lake. There is also a bus stop within walking distance. A car is advised though in order to make the most of your stay. San Mamete is a charming lakeside village offering guests the chance to enjoy an authentic stay in this beautiful part of Italy.
