Ametista House Village and Castle - SPA river view

The green heart of our Residence, a combination of wood and stone makes both floors of the Ametista house unique. Two doubles, a large living room with two sofas (one bed), air-conditioned, two complete bathrooms. It enjoys a terrace perfect for an open-air happy hour with breathtaking views (maybe after a swim in the pool or a sauna!). The common areas allow you to enjoy the peace of the place and the view with a suggestive landscape that will accompany the days of your stay and your memories! The flat Ametista is structured on two floors and has on the ground floor a large living room with kitchenette, a double bedroom and a bathroom with shower. A wooden staircase leads to the attic where a nice solution offers a comfortable double bedroom with an original sliding bed and a large bathroom with bathtub. Leaving the flat you can enjoy a large panoramic terrace where relaxing armchairs and a small table make the perfect place to enjoy a bit of relaxation while enjoying the natural beauty of our magical Umbria. The direct access to the common area gives the possibility to enjoy the surrounding landscape with enchantment; having all the comforts to fully appreciate the garden while enjoying the view over the valley. In the common area are made available to our guests: fireplace, cooker, sink, tables, chairs and lounges. To further satisfy your senses there is a relaxation area consisting of: a swimming pool (from 15/05 to 15/10, on request we can anticipate the opening or delay the closing) with sunbeds, changing room and WC and an infrared sauna. Due to the challenges presented by the coronavirus (COVID-19), we are offering additional resources and support to our customers. We have reinvented ourselves and made such changes that each flat enjoys its own private area in the common area, guaranteeing us the possibility of protecting our guests while respecting social distancing. Every detail has been thought and realized with love and having the possibility to give you emotions and unforgettable memories are the most beautiful gift for us! As mentioned above, all guests have at their disposal a large outdoor space where they can enjoy a large fireplace, gas cooker, sink, tables with chairs, outdoor lounges, numerous benches and several seats to enjoy the wonderful view of the valley below. There are also deckchairs and sunbeds for sunbathing, beach umbrellas by the pool, a 4-seater sauna, cold and hot outdoor showers in the changing room where a toilet completes the services available to all. Two car parks are available: a very large one, at the base of the residence, from which you will have to make some stairs to reach the house and another small one (four parking spaces), located at the upper entrance of the residence at the level of the structure. The quality of the service offered is our priority. We are available to indicate the location of the residence, once you arrive we will hand over the keys and then we will show you the flat and the outside spaces. We try to be discreet and empathic and to understand if the guest would like to interact with us or needs maximum privacy. Our aim is to give you the chance to create indelible memories that leave a smile. Our presence in the structure, especially during the summer period (for the care of the garden and the services of the common areas), is daily. The wonderful thing about the area where the residence is located is that even though it is part of the historical centre (we are on the top of the village) we border with the medieval fortresses that have been abandoned for centuries. So around us, just a few dozen metres away, we have nature taking possession of a territory that man had made his own over the centuries by building dry stone walls and cultivating olive trees. Not infrequently the falcon hovers above us, the house is located in the highest part of the ancient village, from here you can enjoy a spectacular view and the microclimate is fantastic, being covered to the north, the north winds do not touch us and the first sun already warms our breakfast on the terrace until late November. The village of Ferentillo is situated in a strategic position in the centre of the peninsula right in the green heart of Umbria. Nearby it is possible to visit, with short trips, towns like: Spoleto,Narni, Spello, Todi, Assisi, Foligno, Perugia, Rome, etc...etc... There are countless sport and landscape attractions offered by our Valnerina, the famous Marmore Falls (the highest waterfall in Europe) where it is also possible to practice rafting and canyoning not only hydrospeed and tubing to play and have fun with nature; to a beautiful natural cliff, of national and international fame, on which it is possible to practice sport climbing through hundreds of open routes. Along the banks of the rivers in the area, fans can also enjoy sport fishing and no-kill fishing of the local native Fario trout. Alongside more difficult sports dedicated to a small circle of enthusiasts, there are other more tranquil and "traditional" sports that can be practised on the mainland: walking, trekking, hiking, horseback riding and mountain biking, along with marked and signposted nature trails to discover unspoilt and breathtaking corners of the landscape. For those who love biking in a more extreme way, the Valnerina offers lots of downhill routes. At about 300 mt from the accommodation there is the bus stop Terni/Ferentillo, passing by the Marmore Falls and going up the Valnerina up to Scheggino it connects us every hour in both directions. With nordic walking rackets, we can face walks in the villages of the valley (only Ferentillo has 18 medieval style hamlets) not to be missed! Umbria offers great excellence in many fields, starting from art with all its basilicas rich in treasures: ASSISI (San Francesco), NORCIA (San Benedetto), CASCIA (Santa Rita); to get to the food: olive oil, wine (Sagrantino di Montefalco ), truffle, all cold cuts and popular cuisine in general ... give us flavours that the palate will never forget. All the services provided are free of charge: air conditioning, swimming pool, sauna, indoor Wi-Fi, night lighting in the common area and Wi-Fi in the entire outdoor area of the residence. The consumptions are charged to the guests, in the case of the common areas will be divided between the number of people present. The consumptions of the house are at the expense of the guests concerned. Sheets and towels are not included. The set for one person includes sheets, pillowcases, large, medium and small towels, kitchen towels for hands and dishes. The tablecloth is inside the house, the cost of the set is 10€ per person for the whole period. A shuttle service is available on request, to be agreed with the management.
