Apartment with wide terrace in the countryside

The apartment is at the first floor of an indipendent house in the open countryside of Monferrato, 1 hour travel from Turin, 30 min from Asti. It has a 40sqm terrace, a living room, a kitchen, a bathroom and a wide panorama on the Alps from the two bedroom windows. The owners live at groundfloor. You have indipentent access to the terrace from a separete stairway and, from the terrace, to the apartment. Free parking lot in the courtyard. HEATING EXCLUDED: 3€ PER DAY. In the property there is also a wide garden you can enjoy, with trees such as cherry tree, peer tree, walnut, fig, plums, herbs and spices which you can pick up. At the bottom of the garden there is a nice shady chill out corner where you can relax and also do a barbecue. You can stay in the terrace which is a quet shady place to relax, have breakfast, smoke in complete privacy, you also can stay in the garden, lie down on the sofa or on the chairs, have your dinner, do a barbecue, pick up some fruits... We live at groundfloor and we are always present in case of necessity or to provide informations. The apartment doesn't have a washing machine that's why our guests can use ours If necessary. We are happy to suggests you places to visit and restaurants where to go and to put you in contact with the farmer where we buy fruits, vegetables and eggs of the day. There are lots of paths to walk amomg the woods. You can easily reach the near villages of Cortandone and Roatto, even by foot. In Roatto there's a first quality little butcher that is a grocery as well. Surrounding villages has nice locations with historich buildings and churches, even from 12th century, and events like countryside festival, especially for food specialities You need car to reach the apartment since no public transport is available. In the case you do not have a car we can offer a pick up service. We can come to pick you up at the train station and bring you back home at the cost of € 10, so you can go visit any place reachable by train. Or we can bring you to the supermarket and back at the cost of 5 €. You can walk in the surroundings sightseeing and easily reach two near villages by foot. Then there are many places to visit around here with a car: Monferrato and Langhe which are famous all around the world for the red wines Barbera, Nebbiolo, Barolo, Barbaresco and their gentle hills. Asti, the medieval town nearby with its huge Gothic cathedral; Montegrosso d'Asti which is a little medieval citadel with an imposing castle; Roccaverano, another medieval village famous for producing a great robiola cheese; Portacomaro, medieval stronghold where the Papa Francesco family had origin and also Grignolino wine; spectacular cathedral such as Santa Maria del Vezzolano (XII century), the Sactuary of Madonna di Crea and the Cappella del Paradiso deep in the woods of the Natural Park of the Holy Mountain of Crea; here in Cortazzone San Secondo Church from XII century. Then you can't miss Turin , the town mostly known for its football team Juventus and for the automobile manufacturer Fiat, it will actually surprise you with its huge pedestrian squares and with its elegant architectures which start from the ancient roman walls and go through the centuries, with its long arcades and its museums (the Egiptyan Museum is the second of the world after Il Cairo) Finally from here you can go for a trip to the best Alps valleys, such as Val Maira, Val Varaita and from there reach more than 2000 mt elevation with chair lift to have a breath taking view. The house is located in the hills. The closest village, Roatto, is 2 km far from it and it's reachable by foot. In Roatto there's a grocery and a butcher but no bars or restaurant. The nearest restaurant is about 5 km far and you need the car to get to it In the winter season from October 15th to April 15th heating is not included in the renting price. It's 3 to 4 euros per day depending on the guests use
