Number Seven - luxury ensuite apt - Watergate Bay
Number Seven is a luxury stay a stone's throw from the sea and one of the UK's most prized beaches. With two-miles of sand, coastal walks, National Trust properties and a fanfare of award-winning restaurants on its doorstep, guests simply love the apartment's location and return year after year. North Cornwall is one of the most stunning parts of the UK and Watergate Bay, with its inviting turquoise waters and breathtaking coastline is a incredible place to visit throughout the year. Number Seven is a one bed apartment nestled on the left hand side of the Bay away from the restaurants and other holiday apartments. It has one bedroom with a 'don't want to get out of bed it's so comfy in here' king-sized bed with sumptuous Egyptian cotton bedding, towels and an en suite. Fluffy bathrobes are ready for you to lounge around in during your stay too. There is a dining and lounge area with a patio that leads onto a balcony with a table and chairs. While this apartment does not have sea views, it overlooks some majestic hills and guests are invited to use the balcony as they wish and often sit out of an evening enjoying the sea air with a glass of white or red. The lounge area has a comfortable sofa bed with luxurious bedding. There are thick fluffy towels and bath robes available for guests here too. A large bathroom with a shower serves these guests during their stay. The kitchen is well-equipped with an oven, hob, dishwasher, fridge and small freezer compartment. The cupboards are filled with the usual kitchen equipment you would expect at home, so if guests chose to cook in the apartment, they usually have everything they need. There is a Nespresso machine for guests who love their morning espresso and a NutriBullet for those who relish a smoothy. Tea, coffee and hot chocolate is provided for all guests. There is one dedicated car parking space. The apartment is yours to enjoy. There is a cupboard in the hallway filled with all of the things we think you might need for your stay including an ‘elephant trunk’ with all of the things you just may have forgotten to pack into the car on your way to Number Seven… There’s a basic buggy and some black-out static sheets for the windows in case you have children who like to take a nap in the day. We want your stay to be a treat. We want you to feel pampered, so you can return home feeling relaxed and recharged. We have been fortunate to stay in luxury hotels and apartments across the globe so when we launched Number Seven we brought all of the ideas we thought made our trips extra special. Small touches that make wonderful memories. We know how precious time away is, so we have tried to provide you with not just a very comfortable place to rest your head, but a number of little surprises to make your stay more convenient, snug and lovely. Number Seven is your bolt-hole, your family retreat, a romantic getaway, a place for reconnecting, reviving, to replenish. It's a beautiful part of the world and you are very welcome. Watergate Bay is listed as one of the top 20 beaches in Britain (Telegraph, Aug 2020). With a two-mile stretch of glorious sand, the Atlantic is the perfect spot for surfers, swimmers and paddlers. National Trust’s treasures like Carnewas-at-Bedruthan and Lanhydrock are on the doorstep. It's a perfect location for walkers as the South West Coast Path crosses the Bay. Watergate Bay is accessible by all sorts of public transport depending on how far you're coming and how much time you're willing to spend getting there. Newquay airport is 6 minutes drive away (if you were getting a cab or hiring a car). If you were arriving by train to Watergate Bay you could catch the A5 Atlantic Coaster towards Mawgan Porth which leaves outside the Great Western Hotel. Apparently that would take 17 mins from train to Watergate Bay. If you're looking to go to Padstow by public transport there are a few changes you'll need to make and it may take about 1 hour 38 mins - best to check that online before you set off. If you are looking to hire a car during your visit, there are a couple of firms operating out of Newquay.
