Gorokan is a suburb of the Central Coast region of New South Wales, Australia. The word "Gorokan" means "The Morning Dawn" from the language of the Awabakal (an Aboriginal tribe). Gorokan is located on the shores of Tuggerah Lakes and has long been a holiday destination for many. The large Lake Haven Shopping Centre is only a five minute drive away; with all the main stores, including - Aldi, Coles, Woolworths, Kmart, banks, Post Office, restaurants and take-aways.
