An oasis of relax, overlooking the sweet waters of Lake Lugano and nestled among the green mountains, in the picturesque Castagnola on the slopes of Mount Brè: it is TERRACE ON THE LAKE, the perfect two-room apartment to visit the city and Ticino out of the chaos of the center and immersed in a wonderful landscape! The large terrace is the highlight of the apartment: furnished with table and chairs, it will be your favorite place to read, sunbathe, have lunch and dinner outdoors, drink a glass of good Ticino wine at sunset! The living room overlooks the terrace, furnished with elegance and taste, decorated with original canvases that give the room character and liveliness. The black leather sofa welcomes the whole family for a film to watch together on the flat screen TV; at night, it becomes a comfortable double sofa bed. Next to the TV area there is the dining area with a table for 4 people. The kitchen is compact but complete and fully equipped for cooking and serving meals. The master bedroom is spacious and bright, with a large wardrobe for storing your wardrobe. The bathroom with shower completes the apartment. In summer, relax and cool off in the large communal swimming pool in a breathtaking lakefront position. A towel set is included for each person, together with bed sheets and blankets; we also give you a courtesy kit. We also leave a basket with the necessary for a breakfast. Free Wi-Fi for the guests. The guests have the access of the whole apartment. Access: This apartment with has a SELF CHECK-IN: we will not be present upon your arrival, but, upon the confirmation of your booking, you will receive an e-mail with the INSTRUCTIONS, with photographs and VIDEOS of the entrance and the parking; moreover, you can call us if you need help. In the surroundings: The apartment is 15 minutes’ drive away from the city centre of Lugano, 10 minutes’ away from the Ciani park, its Villa and the Lido of Lugano, with its indoor and outdoor swimming pools, beach along the lakeshore and tennis courts. It will take you 3 minutes to reach the start of Sentiero degli Ulivi and the small Lido San Domenico, where you can enjoy a 25 minute panoramic walk to the picturesque town of Gandria. HOW TO ARRIVE: If you arrive by car, from the A2 highway take the Lugano Sud exit and set the GPS: in 15 minutes you will arrive at the building. If you arrive by train, from Lugano station take the bus No. 2 (direction Castagnola, Capolinea) for 11 stops (15 minutes) and get off at Castagnola, S. Domenico stop. Then walk for 4 minutes to reach the elevator to go down to the condominium. Paid parking nearby.
