MyHoliday Home is a LAKE FRONT Modern, Spacious Villa with its own swimming pool, on the outskirts of Colombo City. The villa is 30 km from Colombo City and situated between Colombo & Galle on the Colombo Southern highway. It's also just a "ONE Hour" drive from the villa to Colombo or to Galle, or even the International Airport (due to connecting highways). It's ideal for tourists wanting to visit Colombo and/or Southern Coastal areas, or even taking a quick relaxing break from the busy city. The property is a spacious detached house that was renovated and completed end (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) This villa can comfortably sleep up to 14 persons in our 4 or 5 spacious air-conditioned comfort rooms with beautiful serene view overlooking the Lake & Garden. There are 3 large double bedrooms with attached bathrooms on the 1st floor and a double bedroom on the ground floor which is useful for a less mobile person with a bathroom right next to it. This beautiful open plan family home with large ground floor dining, sitting-room and verandah also has a marvelous lake view. The tall surrounding walls around the 3 sides of villa gives you complete privacy and seclusion from neighbor’s with only a picket fence separating the villa from the 55-acre Lake Front. The nearest main town is 3 miles away and has all the shops and some larger supermarkets (Keells, Cargills) where you could pick up all the groceries you need. FYI...There will be no additional charges other than what you pay for booking the villa as making charges, gas, or staff cost etc, (this is already included in the booking cost). If you are a tourist, then you make a really significant saving when you share the overall cost or consider what you’re paying per person or per room rate. You can take advantage of this location and pricing benefit by putting this money behind hiring a vehicle for your group considering a more economical, convenient, safer and faster way to travel making MyH villa a great base to explore Colombo or Southern coastal towns. There are plenty of things for the kids to do, plus lots of lovely spaces for adults to relax and enjoy a cold beer or a glass of wine at the villa. Play badminton, practice basketball shooting, throw darts, practice some soccer moves, ride bikes, catch fish in the lake or play ping pong. There is an extensive array of indoor and outdoor games, equipment and toys that have been made available free at the villa for your careful use. The Entire House for Exclusive Use with our in house staff to Cook for you, Clean up and Tidy that comes as an additional privilege of booking this Holiday Home. The NEIGHBORHOOD and daily day trip driving range staying at MyHoliday Home... 1. Sri Lanka’s biggest go-karting circuit track is just 8 minutes drive which also has a swimming pool, air riffle shooting, basketball court, pool tables and cafes / restaurants. Work in progress for a new waterpark. 2. We are less than One hour drive from some fine Beaches - Kalutara beach is 25 minutes drive - Bentota takes 48 minutes - Hikkaduwa is One hours drive 3. Historical Buddhist temple Weedagama Rajamaha Viharaya is 10 minutes drive or the architectural heritage site of Galle Fort is one hours drive. 4. Turtle Hatcheries, Unawatuna Lagoon Canoeing Excursion are approx. One hours drive from MyHoliday Home. Whale / Dolphin watching or snorkeling in Mirissa is One & Half-hours drive from the villa where you could easily plan for a day trip and get back the same day. 5. Wildlife or nature lovers will enjoy Bodhinagala Forest Reserve (35 min drive) or Sinharaja Rain Forest, Udawalawe or Yala National Park is under 2 and half hour drive. The villa is "ONE Hour's" drive time from Colombo or Galle...or even the International Airport (due to connecting highways). - Uber taxies are available. - Approx 5 Van or Car rental / hire companies are available in Bandaragama (3 km from villa) - 500 meters walk to the nearest 3 wheeler stand or bus stop. This booking FEES covers...IMPORTANT!! * Exclusive use of the entire villa with pool, etc. for only you and your guests * 4 Bedrooms for unto 10 Adults (kids under 5 stay free) * And if the full guest count in villa is ONLY 1 to 2 Persons = FREE Halfboard stay will be offered (1 Bedroom with Dinner & Breakfast) * Free breakfast is provided and you can order your meals from the villa too (local / International menu) * Or you could purchase all the provisions and pass to our chef to make your meals (no additional charge if ALL the provisions are provided by you) * Our staff will maintain and clean / tidy the villa and rooms ** Please note...Additional 5th room, extra single beds (max guest count of 14 persons), Fullboard or Halfboard packages, vehicle pickup drops, tour arrangements can be arranged at additional costs. All bedrooms are air-conditioned + fitted with fans and the attached toilets have sola powered hot water facilities. However in the event of sudden power cuts, we do not have standby generator power in the villa but we could make this available at a cost.
