Christel's On Crofton is a lovely old lowset Queenslander that is in the process of being rejuvenated, so if you can excuse some flaky paint I can promise a relaxing stay for you. If you're a tourist, Christel's On Crofton will not disappoint. With you only being 500 metres from the CBD, 200 metres from The Friendlies Private Hospital and a little over 1 km from The Bundaberg Base Public Hospital, Christel's On Crofton is centrally located and has everything you need to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Christel's On Crofton is also totally pet friendly. Comfortably sleeping four in our two large bedrooms, (a queen sized air mattress is available on request.) The Master which is fully airconditioned, has a full ensuite with claw bath and double shower and a makeup niche for those getting ready for a night on the town. The second bedroom has a queen sized bed furnished with bedside tables, ottomans and comfy wing backed chair. There is also a second bathroom and laundry for when you need to freshen up your clothes. The fully appointed kitchen with a massive five burner stove has all you need to prepare a gourmet meal, or if you're not in the mood to cook, you are only minutes away from the centre of town with all the cafes, restaurants and eateries to satisfy the fussiest of palettes. I have set up Christel's On Crofton as a place I would feel at home at, be it for a couple of nights, a week or more. As such, I encourage you to enjoy the home to its fullest. Certain areas I have secured but this in no way will restrict your enjoyment of your stay. As you will be staying in your "home away from home", I respect your privacy and as such everything has been set up for you to enjoy your stay with minimal interaction from me. Even though I have tried to think of everything that you would want, if there is anything that you require or any questions that you may have, I am only a phone call or text away to make sure everything is to your liking. If you're a tourist, you are only a short drive away from all that Bundaberg has to offer. Whether you're in the mood to see the Bundaberg Rum Factory or Ginger Beer Factory which is about five minutes drive away. Visit the beautiful seaside town of Bargara which is only 15 minutes away, while you're at Bargara make sure you visit nearby Mon Repos to do some turtle watching. There is so much to see and do. I have supplied a large variety of brochures for you to read at your leisure. If you have come up here to do some fishing or other activities, rest assured there is ample space in the backyard for your boat or trailer and the carport is over 3.5 metres high to accommodate most vehicles and there is ample off street parking for your cars. Please keep in mind the airconditioning compressor under the carport when reversing. Staying at Christel's On Crofton, you are only a short walk or drive away from most facilities. The Moncrieff Theatre is only a short walk away, with a variety of live shows and movies on offer. Hinkler Shopping Centre with a variety of stores including Coles, Woolworth and Kmart is only a few minutes walk or drive away. There is also an Aldi close by and a fresh fruit market nearby to buy the freshest fruit and vegetables, much of which is grown in the region. First and foremost, please treat the place like your home and as such please treat it and it's contents with respect. Accidents do happen, but if you break something, please let me know and arrange for it's replacement or repair. I, like most people love pets and they are welcome at Christel's On Crofton once they have been approved before booking. Having family and friends over while you're staying in Bundaberg is encouraged, but please no parties that will distrupt the quiet enjoyment of my neighbours. Smoking in today's society is frowned upon in many places, but I do realise that many people still enjoy a cigarette. If this is you, please do so on the back decking or anywhere outside the house. Once again, please respect this home for when the next guests come to stay. Lastly, please enjoy the house to it's full potential, but if you use and dirty something, please clean up after yourself, especially with foodstuffs that may attract unwelcome visitors. At this time of extreme dryness and drought, you may notice an increase of ants around the outside of my home. This is quite natural and should be of no concern inside the house. I do however strongly suggest that all foodstuffs are securely sealed when not used or stored in the refrigerator and that all surfaces are kept clean. This will greatly reduce the incidents of ants inside the house.
