Cozy private apt 8 mins from UCONN - solar powered

Relax & unwind in this amply sized private studio suite, complete with large seating/tv area & study/desk space. Space comes w/ 2 beds(1 queen, 1 full sized pull out futon couch) a full private bath, mini-fridge, microwave, dishware, & utensils. Beautiful rural wooded area with numerous hiking trails nearby. Longer term rentals may be considered. We are one of the closest abnb's to UCONN, maintain a very clean and comfortable space and do our utmost to make each guest feel welcome & completely at home. You'll have the studio apartment located above the garage which has a semi-private entrance, the studio has it's own private bath & walk in closet. Also feel free to use the washer/dryer and the back deck with hot tub. I like to make sure that I'm available to meet guests when they 1st arrive to show the space & hand over the key so please let me know if your arrival plans are delayed. I'm usually home during the day and will do my best to answer any questions you may have or make you a morning cup of coffee. I'm happy to chit chat or just to leave you to it and stay out of your way. Scenic and very hike-able Nipmuck trail is very close by. Both UCONN and newly remodeled Storrs Center are a short drive. We are just over 3 miles from the UCONN campus on a rural, winding & hilly road so walking or biking would be a challenge. Uber is willing to come out here however if you do not have your own transportation. If driving yourself please park next to the jeep or basketball hoop We've got 2 small kiddos here and are generally up and stomping around by 7am. The ABnB space is removed from the home, but you may still hear us faintly between 7-8 am (garage door will open beneath you around 730am M-F)
