Below are just a few nearby highlights: - A major rafting entry point for the Clark Fork River (6 minutes) - Fish famous Rock Creek (6 miles) - Beavertail Pond (2 exits away) a favorite local place for a family to fish (10 pound trout often caught), or paddle board, kayak, canoe, swim and picnic on its shores Stocked fishing pond close by for family fishing and picnicking - Close to many gorgeous hiking trails - Close enough to Missoula (17 miles) to enjoy its many amenities and great restaurants, but far enough away to be in the country. Enjoy a relaxed or active vacation at our home in beautiful Montana! Guests have exclusive access to the entire main level, including your own laundry room. Enjoy the beautiful outside spaces along with the tire swings hanging from our very mature shade trees. Hang some hammocks and BBQ on the grill or lounge around, taking in the pastoral views, surrounded by many species of birds from our shaded patio area. Or lift up your eyes to the nearby mountains and occasionally see elk and dear roaming on the slopes. There is a lower level, one bedroom unit that may have other Airbnb guests and use the shared (exterior only) spaces. The exterior spaces like the Weber BBQ grill under the patio roof, fire pit and patio area are on a first come first serve basis. We ask that all guests exercise courtesy after 10PM and refrain from loud noises when other guests are present. The owner/host is one phone call, text or email away. The property is located in a quiet, serene country setting with gorgeous views of forested mountains on either side of a green, narrow river valley. A full offering grocery store with gas is less than two miles away. Countless trailheads are in the area where you can access miles upon miles of Montana's pristine backcountry. Winter stays include snowshoeing, cross country skiing and snowmobiling. There is a full service grocery market and gas station about 2 miles away. A major rafting/tubing entry point for the Clark Fork River is about 3 miles away.
