3 Bedroom Lake House on Lake Champlain

Tip: Bring your water shoes for maximum swimming comfort. Hop on the Essex Ferry to Vermont to experience shopping, art, restaurants and museums. The Shelburne Museum and ECHO, Leahy Center for Lake Champlain are perfect for families. The lake house was built in 1989 on 2.5 acres. Once this property was farmland, as was much of our neighborhood. There are 2 sets of sturdy bunkbeds that pull out for easy bed making. The 2nd downstairs bedroom has a view of the lake. These two bedrooms share a bathroom and shower. The master suite is upstairs and has a bathroom with a glass and slate shower. There is a small roll top desk and high speed internet for those whom are working. Parking is plentiful as we have a private drive. Our lake house is just a few minutes from the Essex Ferry and "downtown". There is a library, ice cream shop, bowling alley, tavern, restaurants and shopping. Keep your eyes open for trail signs for amazing hiking trails. There is a country market and gas station minutes away. The lake house has 2.5 acres and sits off the road. This is ideal for children and pets. Walking on Route 22 is safe, however, I recommend driving the 1 mile into Essex, and parking in the public lot or taking the Essex Ferry into Burlington. We have a handyman if there is an immediate need. Pets are welcome but we kindly request that a cover is used on couches and beds. Please use the provided waste bags for outdoor cleanup.
