Welcome to Big Blue! We offer a bright, cozy room, with queen bed and shared bathroom . We sport a nice view of a 17 acre pond. We are on the main bus route and a 5 minute walk from SUNY Broome. We are a 10 min. drive from Binghamton University, are directly on the main interstate exchange, and have a beautiful park nearby. T We love pets, and add $20 to the overall bill for the extra work they generate. Rob is here most of the time if you need a chat or a good cup of tea. Enjoy your stay! There is a small kitchenette with a toaster oven, griddle coffee maker combo as well as coffee, half n half upon request , along with dishes. Please only toilet paper in toilet. Any thing else please put in trash receptacle. I've provided a shower caddy for your toiletries . There is a room heater available. Our guest have use of our wonderful back yard with its gorgeous view of mountains, pond, trees and gardens. We also have a horse shoe pit, volleyball/badminton net, corn hole game, along with fishing poles for a small maintenance fee. You may enjoy your choice of lounge chairs, outdoor tables with umbrella, and a nice size deck. You will find a beautiful stone fire pit for outdoor cooking and s'mores making, and 3 grills for your use . I'm available most of the time and if I'm not home you can reach either my wife or I by phone. Phone numbers are in your house manual. We have a wonderful neighbor hood with plenty of walking areas,Starbucks less than a mile away.We are a stone's throw from Ostiningo park where the famous Binghamton speide fest and balloon rally is held every year. the local transportation is within 200 feet from our front door We are kid friendly, after all, we raised 6 of our own in The Big Blue House! Because we have other guests, we ask that parents keep their young ones from disturbing others. Please do not allow: continuous crying or arguing(more than 5 minutes),running up and down the hall, loud use of microwave or room doors, media that can be heard outside your closed room door, leaving messes in common areas, tying up the bathroom for more than 20 minutes, using excessive hot water etc. any of the above can be cause for dismissal.
