Cozy Waterfront 3-Bedroom Cottage

Welcome to our Happy Hangout! If you are looking for a place to relax or to enjoy the beautiful river, come stay at our cozy cottage. Our flag-stoned firepit area provides that perfect setting for long chats under the moonlight as the firewood crackles. Our large wood-deck patio invites you to laze by the garden or dine al fresco under the gazebo. Close by, it takes only 5 minutes by car to town and 15 minutes to the dunes/beach! The cottage can accommodate 3 adults and 2 children overnight. It has a Master Bedroom with a King-size bed and a big window that looks out to the water plus 2 smaller rooms, one of which has a bunk bed (for kids) and the other a regular twin-bed. Outside, it is fronted by the Little Bouctouche River. The grounds has a defined fire pit area close to the water; a large wooden deck; an outdoor dining set under a gazebo; lounge chairs; a 2-person swing; a picnic table; and a basketball hoop. There is also a small field behind the cottage that can be used for frisbee or ball games. The cottage is nestled in a wooded area with a walking trail. Ample parking - 4 cars comfortably. Camp Wildwood - a good reference point for visitors - is just a short walk away. Take the highway (around 5 minutes) or the scenic route (around 8 minutes) to the beautiful Acadian town of Bouctouche for groceries, restaurants and other amenities. Buy seasonal fresh produce from Michaud Farm (around 11 minutes). Enjoy dinner theater or mingle with performers during the day at Pays de la Sagouine (around 7 minutes). Stroll on the Bouctouche Dunes Boardwalk or beach (around 16 minutes). Fish from piers close by. Our favorite: take Kanalflakt Way, turn right onto the bridge, get onto Highway 535 in the direction of Dixon Point and let your breath get taken away by the stunning ocean vistas. The cottage does not have a TV but it has Wi-Fi. It also does not have a Dryer but we do have a foldable drying rack and a long outdoor clothesline.
