Newly renovated 3 bedroom house in Carrington

This beautiful 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom house sits on one of Carrington's tree lined streets. The house has been completely modernised and has all the mod cons.....the perfect stay for both couples or families. Carrington is a short 5 minute drive to the centre of Newcastle City and is surrounded by parks, water and walking/ biking tracks. If you don't want to eat at home the house is a short walk to great pubs, restaurants and coffee shops. We love this suburb and hope that you do too! There is a large, bright, open plan living and dining space with sliding doors on two sides of the space to bring the outside in. There are timber floors throughout the ground floor. The TV connects to Netflix, SBS on Demand and ABC iView with an Amazon Fire Stick. Wifi is available if you are working or need to access emails during your stay. The state of the art kitchen is equiped with a dishwasher, a Nespresso coffee maker and everything you need to make the perfect meal. There are the basics such as salt, pepper, oil, coffee pods and teabags. The adjacent laundry is equipped with a washing machine which leads to the washing line. There is a large bedroom downstairs with a queen bed and a large bathroom a bath/ shower, vanity and hair dryer. Upstairs there are two queen bedrooms, both with built in wardrobes and a large bathroom. Both bedrooms have a deck/ verandah. All of the bedrooms have fly screens and fans. There is a small north facing garden at the rear with a timber deck, table and benches and a BBQ. The street is quiet with ample on street parking. Carrington is flat and has great parks and walking tracks that line the river. It's a great place to explore and is an easy flat walk or bike ride into the city. Carrington is a harbourside haven that has a small community coastal town feel. The streets are quiet and tree lined. From the house it's a short walk to the river, bike riding tracks, cafes, bars and a couple of great pubs. Earp Distilling Co. is a funky distillery, restaurant and bar is tucked away in a side street. The shopping centre has a supermarket, bakery, bottle shop and post office. Carrington is a pleasant walk or ride into the city along the harbours edge into Honeysuckle Bay. Buses run through Carrington, with a bus stop at the end of our street. The Wickham train station, tram stop and bus exchange is a 15 minute walk from your stay. The beach and Newcastle city centre are and easy 5 minutes drive. There is a key box on the left hand side of the house where you will access two sets of keys for your stay. Please leave the house tidy and return the keys when you leave.
