New listing! This house with 2 spacious apartments in the Onsernone Valley's quietest village is a great place to get away from it all. The views of Italy from the large covered balcony and garden are breathtaking, as is the river 30 minutes hiking below the house! There are 2 romantic fireplaces, charcoal grills, 2 kitchens, 2 bathrooms, free parking is only 50 meters away on the road. And in 40 minutes you can be in Locarno! You may also book the apartments separately. The upstairs apartment has one bedroom with a double bed (1.4 meters), a living room with a fireplace, a fully stocked kitchen including dishwasher, 2 work desks, a 1.2 meter bed, and a single sofabed. The internal stairs are steep and not ideal for children under 4. The downstairs apartment has one bedroom with two single beds, a living room with a fireplace, and a fully stocked kitchen including dishwasher. We can provide a baby bed and/or high chair upon request at the time of booking. Note that heating is a combination of floor heating (to 15 degrees), wood burning stove (to reach 21 degrees) and space heaters (master bedroom and for fast heating while waiting for wood stove to heat up). Guests unfamiliar with heating by firewood should book elsewhere. Guests have access to the entire house, garden, and basement with washer and dryer. The road up to Crana is very windy and you should plan on driving slowly. Coffee options: Moka/Bialetti Italian espresso maker.
