I am available in emergencies but the day to day of your stay is down to you Witney is a historic market town on the River Windrush, 12 miles west of Oxford. Witney is the largest market town in the Cotswolds and was made famous by its wool trade, the Witney Blanket Hall still stands and offers drinks and cakes as well as woollen goods. The town has a twice weekly market and offers a great blend of cafes and shops as well as green spaces and walks to enjoy. Cogges Farm is a short walk away and a great day out. Crocodiles of the World is another fun attraction located just 7 miles from us. Witney is an ideal base to explore the Cotswolds, it offers plenty to do with excellent links to the surrounding areas. Our location on Church Green is so central you only need to walk a couple of minutes to enjoy all that Witney has to offer. Bus links to Oxford run frequently with the S1 & S2 services leaving every 15 minutes from Market Square. Burford is a 15-minute drive away or catch the 233. All bus timetables can be found online. Cotswold Wildlife Park is a 20 minute drive away. Witney offers free parking with a number of centrally located carparks. We do not provide parking however you can park on street right outside, just be aware of the time limitations sign posted.
