Welcome to my home, situated in a quiet, leafy lane in the rural area of Lathom, nestled on the outskirts of the historic market town of Ormskirk which dates back to Doomsday and steeped in local history, folklore and wildlife. Historic sights are plentiful and open to the public. Local tourist attractions for both young and old include Martin Mere Wetlands Centre, Rufford Old Hall, Mere Sands etc. You'll enjoy a comfortable, relaxing stay in a large, bright, airy en-suite bedroom with a king size bed and dual aspect windows. Patio doors lead onto a stunning wisteria wrapped balcony which overlooks a traditional cottage garden and fishpond, where you can while away a few hours and maybe if you're lucky you'll see our barn owl who regularly perches on the fence. Tea and coffee making facilities, terrestrial TV, super fast broad band, hairdryer, shampoos and soaps are included in your room for your comfort. Fresh towels and bedding are provided. You may meet our resident small elderly dog, Pip. However, she does sleep most of the day and night. You have shared access to a comfortable lounge, dining room and kitchen. Great motorway links are nearby to all major routes, Liverpool, Manchester, Southport, Blackpool and The Lakes. Rail and bus networks are 10 minutes away. Pick up can be arranged on request if needed. We regularly run creative craft and art courses throughout the year. I can send out a course list on request. There is parking outside the house.
