Tiny Home with Huge Charm near the Elkhorn Creek

Just minutes from downtown Frankfort, this place is a little peaceful country getaway with a lot to offer! It’s nestled on a quiet street with great access to the beautiful Elkhorn Creek! If you’re into Bourbon tours, Horses, canoeing/kayaking/fishing, or Natural and Historical sites, this place is a great location in the middle of a lot to see and do! The tiny house has a small kitchen and bath as well as a yard and private patio and grill to enjoy! This little place has huge charm! It was hand built using live edge walnut wood for various interior parts, a spiral staircase, an antimicrobial copper sink and copper shower, and many other reclaimed/ recycled building materials. It was built over the course of several years to showcase creativity and to have a place for friends,family, and other adventure minded people to enjoy! Guest have full use of the place as well as full use of a private patio located behind. There is also a wonderful spot to hang a hammock if you wish! Parking is directly in front of the tiny house in the yard. Just down the road there is a great section of the creek for fishing,swimming, wading or canoeing! Also please don’t leave trash as you are enjoying any part of this area! I live in the house next door and can most of the time be readily available to help make your stay as perfect as possible! Texting with questions would work best to communicate although you’re likely to see my daughter and I outside playing around or hanging out somewhere in this neat little area! I’m very social but also really appreciate privacy when needed and will insist that guest have their own space to relax and enjoy! As you may see this is a wonderful place to live and visit! We have access to an incredible creek at both ends of the road! There are fields and woods around us and the one lane road ends at the creek. Weekends around here are always fun with friends visiting and a great vibe of happy campers from the campground enjoying the area! It’s a great country setting yet super close to town! Bring bikes or kayaks and enjoy the area while you’re here! If visiting local bourbon bars or having a few drinks, have fun and use a taxi or Uber if you need to! While you’re here, you can expect to meet our two Golden Retrievers! They are super sweet and friendly to all! They are free to roam around the property but aren’t allowed in the road or tiny house. The momma dog Cedar will wear your arm out throwing the ball if you let her. Her son Aspen is lazy and super sweet! The both of them are extremely well trained and obedient! They will listen if you need them to! If they get on your nerves just tell them to “go on” or “go play”. We also have a cat that you may see laying around somewhere and two chickens that roam around free range during the day. The neighbors are all great and friends of ours and will most likely greet you if they are walking by. The wonderful Elkhorn Campground is located a stone throw away and you are likely to see other vacationers enjoying walking/biking/golf cart riding/fishing etc
