Delightful Alpine Chalet with a Beautiful View!

Sana Sini - A comfortable alpine chalet situated at 1600m in the mountain village of Hochrindl. 30 mins drive from Feldkirchen in the beautiful region of Carinthia/Kärnten. Incredibly peaceful countryside with great walking opportunities and a fantastic view. Often above the clouds due to the altitude, enjoying plenty of sunshine during the day and star-filled skies at night. We love our huge terrace and the view towards Klagenfurt and the Karawanken mountains. You will have the entire main floor of the house to yourselves. The garage and basement area where the washing facilities and sauna are, are shared with us when we are there. Dear Guests, We bought the house in 2013 as our Home Sweet Home in Europe after falling in love with it and the area. After various moves - Moscow - Singapore - and finally Slovenia, 5 years ago, we now spend a lot more time in Hochrindl. We are open and friendly and would love to welcome you to our mountain retreat. We particularly like waking up to beautiful tranquil sunrises, the sound of water from the nearby brook and taking in the fresh air. Of course with being in the mountains at 1600km it can be quite fresh indeed. There can be a 10-degree difference with down in the valley. It is great for escaping the summer heat. In winter and the cooler seasons, we always heat the house up to make it nice and cozy for your arrival. You may also like to light a fire and snuggle up on a rug. As we only charge for final cleaning, guests who stay for longer periods may choose, if they so wish, to either clean themselves (cleaning materials & a vacuum cleaner are provided), or come to an arrangement with us as required. We provide one set of personal linen per guest per week, a hand towel and a bath towel as well as general kitchen and WC hand towels. You may of course use the washing/drying facilities in the basement, (detergent provided). Any questions? Call us, message us! We're happy to help. The village is spread out in several areas around the Kegel and the houses in our neighbourhood are mostly spaced quite far apart. People are friendly and helpful. We find it perfect for relaxing and walking through nature. Visitors will need their own vehicle as Hochrindl-Kegel is a remote village in the mountains. Winter tyres and snow chains will be needed in the winter months. (Winter tyres are mandatory in Austria from 1st November to 15th April.) Recycling: Rubbish collection in Hochrindl is once a month. We ask guests to follow the local recommendations. We have 4 containers in the basement for metal, glass, paper and plastics, a composting bin and an 'all-other-waste' bin outside. Sauna: Is at your disposal and is on a timer switch for safety. Fire & Wood: Are included and can be taken from the garage or from behind the house.
