Get away from it all in this newly remodeled 1950's lakeside cabin. It literally sits within feet from the lake! 1 bedroom (queen bed) with additional loft sleeping space for 2. There is also a fully reclining LaZBoy chair in living area. Full kitchen and bath. Dock space available if you are bringing your own boat; there is a boat launch right at the end of our street! Driveway parking. Deck, gas grill, fire pit. Experience the fun on the 6-lake Chetek chain of lakes! Beautiful lakefront cabin/guesthouse under the shade of majestic, tall pines and hardwoods. Driveway parking space. Boat dock on site for guest use. Available by text, phone or even a knock on the door if we are at home (host full-time residence is on same property as cabin/guest house). Chetek is a small town in the "Northwoods" of Northwestern Wisconsin. In the spring and summer months, it comes alive with a "lake resort" type of atmosphere: a chain of 6 lakes offering multiple lakeside bars and restaurants that can be accessed right from the lake. Fishing is great here with abundant pan fish, Small and Large Mouth Bass, Northern Pike and Walleye. There is also great shopping in town for antiques, home decor, clothing, art and candy! We also boast an old-fashioned drive-in theater, a public beach and water ski show. A vehicle is needed to get to town from the cabin/guesthouse and to fully experience area attractions. Guests must be physically able to take many steps (total of 35 steps) down (and back up) to get to and from cabin/guest house.
