Cosy grade 2 listed 500 year old thatched cottage
Cosy Nook is situated on the south fringe of Exmoor in the village of North Molton. The village is on the river Mole and a short distance from the A361 link road. There is a shop/ PO and the Poltimore inn which are a two minute walk from the cottage. The market town of South Molton is 3 miles away where there are more shops and tea rooms. Local attractions are Exmoor National Park, the gardens of Castle Hill and NT Rosemoor, Quince honey farm. Barnstable and coast are within a hours drive. The cottage is old and quirky. The large inglenook is the prominent feature in the lounge, the gothic windows with window seats are typical of a cottage of this age. The lounge is cosy with an oil fired burner. It has a dining area. The fully equipped kitchen with fridge/freezer and washing machine opens out onto a back yard and seating area. Upstairs there is a bedroom with a king size bed ( can be two singles), a single bedroom and a shower room. Parking is on the road outside the property. Shop and pub is close by. There are walks from the cottage along the river. Exmoor is on the doorstep with many miles of walking paths, quaint villages to explore, an abundance of wildlife and fantastic scenery. Two small dogs or one larger are welcome. There are throws and towels for their use.
