Built in the 19th century, the house has since been renovated, adding a chef’s kitchen, sunroom, and master bedroom to the pre-existing living room and bedrooms. Fully equipped with Wi-Fi, a Plasma TV (with HBO and Showtime), a stash of games, a Keurig machine and a french press, a fireplace (with plenty of firewood) as well as all the basic necessities, the house is the perfect spot to hibernate during the colder months. However, the property is the real attraction with three ponds, a fire pit, a grill, and back woods for exploring. Whether you come alone for some quiet time, with pets, or with family and friends, Coutant Falls has everything you need to be your home away from home. With three ponds, two waterfalls, lots of land, and several hiking trails, the property is the perfect place for your weekend getaway (yes, you can swim in the ponds). Don't forget about our newest addition - a hot tub that accommodates six people. The hot tub is close to the house and great in the winter. Soak in a hot spa while surrounded by snow! You have access to the entire house as well as the entire 82 acres of land! Please note that, while the house and the surrounding areas are completely private, others may be using the land for farming, fishing, hunting, etc. We will usually let you know when others are around.
