Riverside house in historical English Village
Relax in this very historic town at a large house with a beautiful garden running down to the river - the small town with its famous castle has plenty of facilities including post office chemist butchers antique shop and is a short drive to Grafham water and Hamerton zoo and Rushden lakes shopping. Set in the English countryside there are plenty of lovely walks and a great local pub! There is space for up to 3 in one booking with 1 Kingsize bed and 1 single This is a 4 bed detached property with parking at the side for one car - although plenty of parking is available on the street or in the high street . There is a large kitchen and I can arrange a work space there is a dining room and sitting room there is a downstairs toilet but only one large shower room at vn present ( no bath) The kitchen and sitting room And garden are available including the decking by the river . As we reside at the house obviously I will be cooking and working- feel free to relax in the garden make some food and enjoy the house - it is a non smoking house but outside is fine . A well behaved pet is also welcome! The garden is enclosed Very English / think Miss Marple- historic castle where Catherine of Aragon, Henry V111, died famous Kimbolton school - locally is Grafham water a large reservoir with all water sports and cycle hire etc. hamerton zoo is close by and other historic towns You will need transport as local buses are limited but are available - trains from st Neots go into central london and on to Gatwick twice an hour and late into the night so is excellent for theatre / taxis are available to get home - Grafham has cycle hire and I can arrange bikes by separate arrangement. Stanstead airport is 30 minutes drive Luton is 45 and Heathrow about 2 hours. Gatwick has a direct link on the st Neots train line The area is also well known for some fabulous local restaurants and gastropub pubs and has some amazing historic buildings and architecture all close by.
