Trillium Acres Guest House

Located 10 miles from downtown Morgantown and the stadium. Cooper's Rock is just 12 miles away, with hiking, mountain biking and rock climbing. Our cozy house with modern amenities can accommodate 6 people with 2 queen beds, 1 twin and a queen pull-out sofa. Trillium Acres Cottage is next door and a short walk through the woods for larger groups needing more space. Our cozy guest house has an inviting main living area, with a studio style living room, kitchen and a wood stove to enjoy on cold evenings. Lots of windows and a sliding glass door invite you to step outside and enjoy the spacious deck and beautiful sunset views. An open stairwell leads to the third floor bedroom, furnished with a Queen bed and a twin bed. A half bath is tucked in the corner of the room. Go outside and downstairs to access the ground level suite (not accessible from inside the house). A completely separate and private bedroom with a queen bed and private bath. Relax after a long day in the generous sized jacuzzi bathtub. Outside, behind the house are two clawfoot bathtubs set in a deck. On-demand hot water will fill them with hot water to soak your cares away. (May not be available during freezing winter weather) Check the welcome book inside the house for instructions. The main house, the hosts live in, is located just beside the guest house and the driveway is shared between both houses. Pets are welcome! We do ask that dogs are leashed when outside the house, there are free range chickens on the property and cats (the cats are leashed when outside) Behind the house is a fenced area if you would like to let your dogs run off leash. We do appreciate if you let us know your pets are coming with you. Guests have access to the entire house and use of the property, including the outdoor bathtubs and fire pit. The house is self-checkin via doorcode. I do appreciate knowing your approximate arrive time so I can be available by phone if you have any questions or issues on arrival. Please don't hesitate to let me know if there is something you need or something is not working right so that I can do my best to fix it. Although we have neighbors nearby, they are all just out of sight, due to hills and trees. Just across the road is the Snake Hill Wilderness Management Area, with hiking trails and some rock climbing if you have your own equipment. Also great for cross country skiing in the winter. We are located approximately 15 minutes from Cooper's Rock, and 25 minutes from the Stadium (depending on traffic) We are located away from town, you will need to drive everywhere you go. There is a bus system, but the closest they come to our house is about 2 miles away and it is only twice a day. Motown Taxi is a taxi service in Morgantown.
