We offer our guests a spacious sleeping room with a comfy bed and your own kitchen, both rooms are on the 1st floor of our house. The private bathroom is on the ground floor, right next to the separate WC. Our guests may also enjoy the infrared sauna. Multiple summer & winter destinations: several trails start right from the house, leading to lakes, the town center or to the cross-country skiing track. Many ski areas, ski touring tours nearby, as well as multiple-pitch, sport & trad climbing. In the room (18м2) there is a double bed (140x200) and a working place (big table and two chairs), as well as a small bench, a big bedside locker and another comfy chair. In the guest kitchen there is a couch (160x200), which also can be used for sleeping, as well as an infrared sauna, available to guests. Both rooms are on the 1st floor of our house. The bathroom (with bathtub, for your private use) and WC (sometimes used by us) are on the ground floor. There is no wi-fi; if you need internet, there is a LAN cable in the room. The rooms have a power switch, which means that when there is no use of electricity (at night), there is a minimal electro-magnetic field in the rooms, contributing to a deeper, healthier sleep. Two parking slots (no carport) in front of the house. There are several trails, which start directly from the house - through the forest takes you 15 min to the swimming lake to the south or 30 min to the Green lake to the north. To Turnau (Spar, banks, restaurants, coffee house) you can walk in 30 min through the forest and then over the sunny field called Lanzen, which is a sailplane airport in the summer and a cross country skiing track in the winter. The cross-country skiing track is free of charge and in takes you less than 10 min on foot to reach it. You can drive in 5min to the local ski lift in Turnau. Several other ski areas within 30 min drive, as well as many ski touring possibilities - 5 min drive to Dullwitz, 20 min to Bodenbauer. In Au there is a childrens playground, which is just 5 min from the house. All Hochsteiermark guests become discounts at several ski areas (Veitsch, Niederalpl, Aflenzer Bürgeralm, Mariazeller Bürgeralpe, Annerlbauer), as well as a free pair of snowshoes when borrowing one pair of snowshoes from the local store Rossmann in Turnau. Children of school age are welcome!
