For your enjoyment we are offering a room in a large 4 bedroom house in Grand Rapids' historic west side. There is ample street parking and you can see John Ball Zoo & the park from the front door. You will be a 3 minute drive or 20 minute walk from Van Andel Arena, the BOB, The Intersection and all of the attractions of downtown Grand Rapids! If you're a beer lover Grand Rapids has been voted the #1 Beer City in the US for the second year in a row. Below I'll list the breweries that are super close to us! . There are 2 family friendly dogs, one is 3 & the other 1.5 years, that can be kept in another room if you are allergic or not in love with animals. We also have a puffer fish you can play with, but he mostly stays in his tank. A cab ride is also very inexpensive. You're welcome to use anything the kitchen including the KEURIG with several varieties of coffee. There are 1.5 bathroom in the house, half bath upstairs and full bath downstairs. We love meeting new people and will interact with guests as much as they want. We've had guests who we never met or wanted their privacy & guests who sat down to dinner and relaxed in the living room to watch a movie with us! Either way we're happy to meet you & help you explore our wonderful city! Our neighborhood is in the John Ball Park area. Being this close to the park and zoo we naturally have a lot of families as neighbors. There are a few college students sprinkled in here & there too. Lots of trees and friendly smiles. Our house is less than a block away from a bus stop on Fulton Street. Since we're so close to downtown, cab rides are also very inexpensive!
