This beautiful house is situated in the tranquil northern suburb of Austins Ferry, just 20 minutes from the Hobart CBD and 8 minutes from the world-renowned MONA (Museum of Old and New Art). With views of the Derwent River and backing onto bushland, this home away from home is the perfect oasis where you can curl up on the lounge and read a book, or have a cup of tea in the garden and listen to the birds. Stefano Lubiana winery and restaurant is a gourmet destination just 11 minutes away by car. Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary is a 16 minute drive away where you can feed kangaroos and learn about the local wildlife. Richmond historical village and the celebrated Cole River Valley winery and food trail is within half an hour's drive. We would recommend driving to get around Hobart. Otherwise the no.42 bus stop is 650m down the road, and you can take the bus into the city centre.
