Quaint Country Retreat
Enjoy the quiet of the country with the convenience of a short drive (5 miles) to restaurants, shopping, and entertainment. It takes 15-20 minutes to get to UND and the Ralph Englestead Arena. Accommodations include a 1930's country house with antique decor and lots of yard space. This private setting surrounded by trees and farmland would be great for families, couples, or a friends getaway. The house is owned by James's Mom. It was given to her by our closest neighbor a 1/2 mile down the road and moved onto the farmstead in 2011. It was their great-uncle that built the house in the 1930s. James's great-grandparents farmsteaded here. We live down the driveway in what was James's Grandma's house with our two young sons. All of the furnishings and antiques at the "Quaint country house" belonged to her or were passed down to her. The house has a front deck, back patio with charcoal grill, and a fire pit for you to use. We're available by phone call or text. Peace and quiet. Nearest neighbor besides our house is a 1/4 mile away. Gorgeous sunrises and sunsets. Wide open spaces with trees surrounding. Vehicle will be necessary.
