The classic 1940's era bungalow was modernized and expanded with master suite + 3 rooms, laundry, spacious living room, and garden suitable for small gatherings. Prior to arrival you will receive the key lock combo for Spring Street entrance -- do not enter on Walnut Street. Parking is available on Spring frontage. The home is equipped with central heat (winter) and a whole house fan (summer) there is no AC, Ukiah's cool summer evenings usually reduce the temperature to comfortable levels. The spacious kitchen includes 5 burner gas cooktop, dual ovens with microwave/convection, dishwasher and garbage disposal. Livingroom includes 55 inch smart TV and audio system. WiFi signal sufficient for entire home. Laundry room featuring front load washer/dryer. Ceiling fans throughout. Host contact information will be made available upon booking, inquiries and questions can be submitted thru the App portal. Emergency information is available in the house instructions. Nearby Black Oak Coffee great for quick/light breakfast offering local coffee and more. Mama's Cafe is the spot for breakfast or lunch. Check out Cultiva (be sure to inform owner Fernando Ken sent you for kind treatment) and Patrona for festive beverages, eats with happy hour from 3-5:30. Rivino Winery offers complementary tastings for all our guests -- notify owners Jason or Suzanne. 18 hole Ukiah Golf Course 3 blocks up Walnut Street. If venturing outland Montgomery Woods is the place to hike. Anderson Valley and Hendy Woods for wine and redwoods. Lake Mendocino 10 min. away for water sports or lake trail for technical mountain bike ride. Walk the westside neighborhood south up Spring, west on Walnut to Todd Grove park and Golf Course, east on Walnut toward School Street shops and restaurants. Also great for leisure biking. There’s a connected office on the Walnut frontage that may be periodically accessed during the day by Ken or assistants to collect mail or necessities. The office will be locked and is not accessible from inside the house. In addition a caretaker will access the East gate every other day to feed and check on our house cat Kami who lives in the cellar not accessible from inside house. You might see Kami on the east patio from time to time, she’s a skittish tortie but may let you pet her if she senses you’re a cat lover.
