Elora Waterfront
Central downtown location, steps to it all: restaurants, pubs, shops, yoga, gym, health food store, the Elora Gorge, Cataract Trailway for hiking and cycling, Gorge Conservation, Elora Quarry, tubing, rafting, riverboat tours, live music at local pubs, Grand River Raceway + Casino, Cinema, & the Scottish town of Fergus is 5 min by car. Elora is perfect for holiday shopping - lovely & festive in Nov & Dec. I'm in the heart of town overlooking the river! Fun, hopping location with lots to do. Due to the Coronavirus, I'm taking extra care to disinfect frequently touched surfaces between reservations. For your safety and mine, I have a small basket of wipes, hand sanitizer and disinfectant spray at the entrance, your bedroom and your bathroom. My home is a two-story, two bedroom condo. You have use of a Guest Bedroom with a Full Private Bathroom. (Stocked with shampoo, conditioner, soaps, towels, first aid, sanitizer + other toiletries) Washer/Dryer available to guest. Your room has a mini fridge, chilled water, dishes, utensils, glasses, napkins, TV + wifi + Netflix, hair dryer, iron + board, closet + hangers, beach towels, fan/heater, fresh linens + towels and other sundries. Outside deck - which you are welcome to use - overlooks the beautiful Grand River. I share my place with my indoor cat, she's quiet, friendly and likes to sleep in my room. Entrance is at the front door at the river deck. Your room + bath are at the top of the stairs to the left, marked with a welcome sign. Your private bathroom is right beside your room, marked "Guest Bathroom". (full 4-piece bath) I'll usually be there to greet you but you'll receive check-in instructions if I'm out. There are maps and brochures for things to do in the area, as well as information on places to dine and be entertained. You'll likely be busy during your visit and I'll be occupied with my own schedule. I'm a phone call away if you need me! The people in Elora are kinda artsy, friendly and very helpful. There are lots of musicians here, and weekly jam nights at several venues. Thursday night is jam night at the Shepherd's Pub, right downstairs...where you can also get great food and local craft beers. There's lots to see and do all over Elora and the surrounding area, and the scenery is stunning. A walk along the gorge from Victoria Park must be experienced during your stay! Also the Gorge Cinema, which is the longest, continuously running repertory cinema in Canada, is right across the street for rainy days. I am located right downtown on waterfront property, within walking distance to everything. And if you're attending a wedding at the Elora Mill or a concert nearby, I'm a one minute walk - you can't get any closer! Walking, cycling are the way move about. There is a local cab company if you need it (Dan's taxi). If you have any concerns or needs feel free to ask at any time!
