Charming getaway in the Hudson Valley

This playground tree house for adults in the woods is a quite oasis amongst the trees and mountains. The house is surrounded by merging creeks that you can hear from the deck or opened window. As you drive up the long winding driveway you are greeted by the sounds of nature and are instantly relaxed. The interior of the house has the warm colors of a country stream. In the winter a wood stove brings the house warmth and on warmer days the 2 sliding glass doors invite the cool country air in. There is a new 500 square foot deck with retractable awning, grill, fire pit, bar, cigar station and various pub games. The property is very peaceful especially if you like animals. We have goats, geese, 2 kitties, and 3 dogs. We do have dogs but will not be at the house on the dates listed. Feel free to message for more details. This 3 bedroom home is down a private dirt road that is surrounded by 800 untouched acres that is perfect for hiking and snowshoeing. We are located in southern Columbia County NY and less then 30 miles from 5 different ski resorts, with two within 14 miles. If you are looking for a nice relaxing winter getaway near plenty of winter activities and relaxing by the a wood stove at night then this is the place for you. You will have your own private bedroom with bath. Must love dogs if you stay because we have 3 that love company. - The bedroom has a queen bed with a TV and DVD player and the bathroom is across the hall. - We also have some space available for additional guests - We are gay friendly Extra available amenities include: washer/dryer, free wifi, some snowshoe equipment, bonfires in the yard, hot tub, sauna, library full of books and videos. Guest will have access to the entire house in and out which now also includes brand new sauna installed June 2020. There is a large deck with awning and over 800 acres of trails. Also the guests can interact with all our animals - dogs, cats, goats, and geese. We are around to interact as much as little as you would like. If you book the house when we are not home we are easily accessible by phone. A vehicle is needed to access our house and surrounding towns. Must love animals because we have 3 very friendly dogs and 2 cats. Outside we have 6 goats (2 big and 4 minis ) with 2 geese. They have there own enclosure but do let them roam around the property.
