It sits within the private estate of Sandwich Bay so you're just two minutes from the quiet beach while still being close to Sandwich, Deal and Thanet. From entering through the welcoming hallway, where the cloakroom is located, you find yourself in the bright, airy and large sitting room. With parquet flooring, sofas and huge flat screen TV it is an ideal space to relax after a day on the beach or golf course. The kitchen has been recently updated in high-gloss white units and is very well equipped with induction hob. From the kitchen the sunny dining room , with seating for eight, leads onto the patio and rear garden through glazed doors. Upstairs there are four well appointed bedrooms. The master has a super king bed, there's a twin, a single and a double along with 2 bathrooms. The large rear garden has a patio with garden furniture and a large area of lawn, perfect for the family to relax and children to run free! The private estate of Sandwich Bay is only accessible to residents, annual season pass holders and daily paying visitors so it stays quiet and well maintained. Wildwoods is set within the private estate of Sandwich Bay and Sandwich Bird Observatory with access to one of the few private beaches in the UK. The house has a large drive with plenty of parking Sandwich holds a wealth of cultural heritage being one of the Cinque Ports. The town is recognised as one of the best preserved medieval towns in the country and is now in ownership of its own Magna Carta. Sandwich is awash with things to see and do, much of it enjoyed on foot without needing to get back in the car. The ancient courtroom and museum can be located in the Guildhall. It really is a delight with timber-framed houses leaning over narrow streets. There are quaint cafes including an Italian pizzeria with wood fired oven, offering delectable bites breakfast until dinner. Follow the town trail taking in the historic sites, then relax on the quay with its cosy pubs and good eateries. Pop into the No Name Shop to devour a fresh pastry and there are even the remains of a Roman Fort that can be reached by river bus or head out to the estuary to spot seals. The quayside is charming with walking trails on the flat which run along on a relaxing 30 minute walk from the sand and shingle beach of Sandwich Bay or you can even walk through the footpath across Royal St George’s Golf Course! Inside the town you will also find the White Mill Rural Heritage centre, Salutation Gardens and no less than four historic churches. The bells you can hear quietly chiming from around the town. The narrow streets with timber framed listed buildings carry you back in time. You’ll also find a delicatessen, a grocers and many places to eat and drink. Events are also held frequently in the centre throughout the year. Sandwich is a bit of a secret getaway location to hide away from the busy world and enjoy local living. Venture less than 2 miles and you can reach Deal a smugglers port town, here you will find another Championship golf course.
