Tranquil Retreat-Safe Neighborhood-Lake Access

Tranquil Retreat is a safe, remodeled, 2-bedroom, 1-bath, lower-level flat in a ranch-style home with its own private entrance. The flat has a wooded back yard, living area, kitchenette and small patio. The laundry room is shared, just up a set of stairs on the main level. Lake access is within walking distance for kayaking or swimming. Area attractions: Proud Lake Recreation Area, Kensington Metro Park, Suburban Show Place, bike paths, movie theaters and restaurants. It is a retreat! Keyless entry by code that you will receive about a week before your arrival. The flat is high tech for your comfort and security. Tranquil Retreat has an assigned parking space for one car. If more vehicles are part of the group, let the hosts know. Additional parking is available on the property. There is no street parking in the neighborhood. Lift and Uber are iffy in our area. We recommend an advance reservation, if this kind of transportation is required. Owners are a phone call away and live close by. This community has a northern Michigan feel despite its suburban location. No public transportation. Roads are easy to navigate, even when winding around the many lakes in the area. GPS directions are reliable. Uber and Lyft available. Reservations recommended. Tranquil Retreat is a non-smoking environment. This includes any form of e-cigarette or vaping devices. If evidence of smoking is detected by the home owner, an additional $50 cleaning fee will be charged to the guest. No parties. No pets.
