Situated down a peaceful country lane in the village of Tibshelf is Hazel Tree Lodge. With countryside views, a large outdoor patio and private car park, it is perfect for walkers, cyclists and equestrian enthusiasts. The property is fitted out to a very high standard with modern kitchen, superb bathroom, hardwood bamboo floors and period stained glass features. Take a seat at the church pew to kick off your shoes before entering the open plan living space with smart TV and designer sofas. Large spacious rooms furnished to a very high standard. Kitchen appliances are quality with Bosch induction hob and oven, Samsung fridge/freezer, Smeg dishwasher, microwave oven, toaster, complimentary tea/coffee and Villeroy & Bosch crockery. There is a downstairs cloakroom with WC and washing machine with iron in the hall. Upstairs, beautifully appointed spacious bedrooms with Victorian pine wardrobes, reclaimed hardwood chest of drawers, blanket boxes, cotton sheets with luxury hotel pillows and Reylon wool mattresses. Choose from a king-size sleigh bed or a twin room, each of which have beautiful views of the surrounding countryside where you can watch horses, ponies and a flock of Cheviot sheep as they graze along the hills. Finishing off the first floor is a spacious family bathroom, home to a bath and a walk-in shower, giving you the option of a quick rinse or indulgent soak after a day out. The main bathroom has a walk in powerful Grohe shower, large bath and heated towel rail. All towels are included. Bamboo hardwood flooring is fitted through out. The latest Nest thermostat controls the central heating and Nest monitored smoke/carbon monoxide alarms are located throughout. Emergency lighting is located on the stairs. Five star cleaning throughout. The property has equestrian facilities so horses are welcome by prior arrangement. Plenty of private off road parking on site. Step outside the property on to the spacious patio patio to enjoy your morning coffee while soaking up the fresh countryside air. The country lane bridleway provides miles of walking and cycling at your doorstep. Shops are within walking distance and boast an excellent local farm shop at the top of the lane. Note: There are steps up to the property and therefore may be not be suitable for those with limited mobility Guests will be able to contact the owners directly by phone during their stay if needed. For things to do during your stay, there are plenty of footpaths, cycling routes and of course, bridleways to explore, or perhaps spend a day fishing on the private fishing pond nearby, the property is located along the historic Five Pits Trail. Enjoy a meal out at one of the local pubs - The White Hart and The Hardwick Inn are both within easy reach and offer delicious menus and good ales. For a spot of history, take a trip to one of many the many local National Trust properties such as Hardwick Hall, which boasts picture-perfect surrounding gardens and a lovely tea room, English Heritage properties such as Bolsover Castle and the stunning Chatsworth House. Nearby, discover Heights of Abraham cable car and experience breath taking views from a new perspective or head to Sherwood Forest home of Robin hood. Let your adventurous side run free with a trip to the Peak District National Park before stopping for some tea and cake or a hearty dinner on your way back to your home away from home.
