Close to area skiing, hiking, area events & outdoor activities. Quiet Host lives downstairs with 3 cats in private quarters. Guests access their space through front doors to home. These are two adjoining private rooms that have access to the kitchen and bathroom. Located on the first floor. Queen in Bedroom 1 with TV and a Queen in Bedroom 2 with seating for 4 for dining. Do note you do have to travel through bedroom 2 to access kitchen and bathroom. Centrally located with easy walking distance to village shops and restaurants offers a relaxing artsy vibe with its original wallpaper & antiques yet far from being stuffy. Try a fun workshop at our Apothecary Shop on Site (must be reserved at time of booking) $75 per person. LBGTQ/PETS/420 Friendly. Fully vaccinated and quiet Host lives on site on first floor with apothecary shop on the back half of home with 3 cats. You might see indoor rescue kitties Max, Betty or Peanut watching the world go by as they sit by the windows. They are not allowed access to guest spaces. Guests use Front Door for Self-check-in using code provided through the airbnb messaging app prior to arrival. On occasion, your Host may welcome and greet you briefly at the side door just to say hello. Free parking is onsite and down driveway, there is enough room for three cars. During winter season, there is no street parking. Village amenities are but 3 walking blocks away, with several quick food options being just 2 blocks away. 30-40 minutes by car to area skiing. 5-30 minutes for area hiking and other outdoor sports. Guests are welcome to use the porch and outside spaces at anytime. Kitchen and bathroom is shared with host. I am reachable via Airbnb text messaging from 10am-7pm if you should need anything or have any questions, I will replay as fast as I can to accommodate any requests. I tend to let guests enjoy their space during their stays Lovely large victorian homesteads line the streets in this quiet neighborhood. Usually after 7pm in the colder seasons, it gets pretty quiet on the weekends, allowing you to relax after a long day of skiing. Catch a good book and stream your latest series you’re catching on Netflix. It’s frankly quiet during the day too, without too much loud street noise to distract you working while on vacation on your art or writing. Three blocks walking distance from the house, you’re in the center of Bellows Falls Village to visit the local coffee shops, boutiques, restaurants and shops without that overly-crowded tourist feel. It’s one of the very reason I chose this town to live in. It’s charming, local and friendly. But not noisy. Definitely check out our guide book that is emailed to you a few days before checking-in for recommended area restaurants - some may require a reservation at this time due to limited seating. Easy 3 block walk to village amenities, shops, restaurants & bars. Speed limit is 25 mph and town limit is 15. People walking have right of way here in town, so be sure to stop and let them cross the road. Free parking on site enough room with 4 cars in total. Park in the ‘L’ section of the driveway not blocking the garage door. Pet Fee is $100 per friendly dog. Please let us know if you are bringing your pets especially during the winter season. We will be sure to use pet-safe ice melt. For this specific 2 bedroom listing, no dogs are allowed in kitchen. 2 small dogs max or 1 med/large dog allowed. Do note guests upstairs might also have a dog or two as all guests use the front door to access spaces. Floors can get chilly in this old 1865 victorian, so bring a pair of warm socks with you. We kindly ask guests not to cook in the kitchen after 8pm.
