VILLA VANGELIS

If you dream of spending your holidays right by the sea to relax and recharge your batteries, Vangelis house is the ideal place for you. Right in front of the beach, literally a stone’s throw away from the sea (15m) and with unlimited views of the Aegean sea, the house can accommodate up to 6 guests in 3 bedrooms with full bath, kitchen, living room and expansive veranda. The house is 75 square meters (800 sq ft) with a veranda of 40 sqm (430 sq ft) and it is equipped with a dining room, living room, sofa, armchair, chairs and sun loungers for sunbathing. It has air-conditioning in the bedrooms and a fan in the living room. Besides the beach there is a marina and further on (400 meters, ¼ mile) the picturesque settlement of Ormos Marathokampos where there is a super market, taverns, cafeteria, pizzeria, hairdresser etc., as well as a fishing port where in the early hours you can find fresh fish right off the boat. You have the opportunity to escape to nearby beaches, archaeological sites and other attractions that can be found in the area and on the island in general, since the longest distance from one side of the island to the other is just 43 km (27 miles). You can also take day trips to the nearest islands such as the historic island of Patmos (where the book or revelations, or Apocalypse, was written) and the spectacular archipelago of Fournoi, or even Ikaria (named after the legendary Icarus) and Kusadasi in Turkey (with organized excursions to the ruins of the historic city of Ephesus, a UNESCO World Heritage Site).
