Drive up the track and through the entrance where The Old Stable Retreat awaits you, set in a fabulous location and surrounded by fields. Enter in to the spacious open plan living space with living area with comfortable sofas and an electric fire for those cooler evenings. The dining area as a large table where you can enjoy a home cooked meal that has been prepared in the large well-equipped galley kitchen. The master bedroom has a double bed, dressing table and wardrobe while the second bedroom has twin beds and wardrobes, luxury Egyptian cotton bedding has been provided to ensure you have the best nights sleep while you are here. Outside on your decking, to one side you have a large area with beautiful rattan table and chairs as well as a BBQ while on the other side you have a fabulous hot tub that takes in the views over the garden and towards the owners fields with their horses happily grazing the day away, it’s the perfect spot to truly relax. The generous garden space also has a lawned area and large gravelled space for parking. Set just a 2 minute drive from the A303 you have a wealth of attractions to visit in every direction, National Trust properties such as Montacute House and Barrington Court are within easy reach as is the country park at Ham Hill, head up to the monument for stunning views of the local area. The towns of South Petherton and Ilminster are both close by and offer independent shops as well as larger stores. Just down the road is the local pub serving fantastic food and drinks, while the nearby farm shop is stocked full of wonderful local produce for you to enjoy. Just a bit further on is a local Indian/Thai restaurant where you can eat in or have it delivered to you!
