The Dambusters Inn Cosy Hideaway at Scampton!

Located in the charming Lincolnshire village of Scampton, the cottage gives you a real sense of a hideaway - plenty of walks in the idyllical countryside, the Famous Dambusters Inn is just a 4 minute stroll away, the Red Arrows flying overhead and the wonderful historic city of Lincoln just a 10 minute drive away - there's a lot to love about Scampton and our little cottage! Welcome to the Dambusters Inn Hideaway! Our studio accommodation is ideal for two people (and a dog!). The Hideaway features two double patio doors and one single patio door into the kitchen space, benefiting from lots of natural light and a lovely view of the garden, almost wherever you are in the studio! Entering the studio through the main door, you step directly into the kitchen. This is equipped with everything you will need to do some cooking...electric oven, hob, kettle, toaster, coffee machine, etc. (if it hasn't got it, we can usually find it and make it available!) From the kitchen, there is the studio itself, with the super-king bed, dining table, TV, armchair and sofa. Some dog beds and blanket are provided for your four legged buddy. The stylish bathroom has a generous sized shower, sink and toilet. Laundry Facilities are housed in the outbuilding situated in the garden, a few paces from the Hideaway. Central Heating and Domestic Hot Water is provided by a Gas-fired boiler . The garden at The Hideaway is secluded and is laid out between the two cottages. It is a private, shared space serving our two cottages. Dogs are welcome. We do provide blankets but you are also welcome to bring your own (whatever your dog prefers!). The garden is great for a morning stretch of the legs before setting out on one of the many walks around Scampton. Parking is right outside of the cottage and there is adjacent quiet street parking available for additional cars. If you would like to get into Lincoln without driving, by taxi it is approximately £9 each way. There is a bus service that runs several times a day too. Scampton is a lovely peaceful village, home to the Red Arrows, who often fly over the cottage during the week during their training sessions - a real treat to see! The cottage is ideally located in a quiet area within the village, though only 4 minutes walk away from the awarding winning Dambusters Inn. The food is superb and the range of drinks is fantastic. Booking highly recommended! Parking is directly outside of the cottage for one car and there is adjacent quiet street parking available for additional cars. Taxis are approximately £9 to Lincoln City. There is a bus service that runs daily too. Dogs are allowed, blankets are provided. Please feel free to bring your own if your dog would prefer that. The Hideaway can sleep more than two people. We are able to provide air beds on requests. We would only recommend this for children. Please let us know at the point of booking and we will arrange it!
