15th century villa among vineyards of Monferrato
Old farmhouse with private and fenced garden, sauna and billiard table. The house renovated in 2020 is on 3 floors connected with stairs. first floor: entrance; living room with TV only smart, laundry room, bathroom, kitchen, dining room with bio-tenol fireplace, kitchen. second floor: 3 bedrooms, a bathroom and an ensuite bathroom from where you access the room with king size bed. ground floor: pool table, sauna, bio-ethanol fireplace and exercise bench. The fenced garden is equipped with Bbq, table and chairs, Badminton, ping pong, hammock, 2 deckchairs and small children's pool The Villa is ideal for those who want to relax with the wonderful views of Monferrato, a Unesco heritage site. For sports enthusiasts, there are several cycle and pedestrian routes that run alongside the river (1km from the house); the path of the famous Big Bench inside the vineyards that start from Novese (60km), passing through Ozzano Monferrato (the closest to 2 km) and reach Monforte d'alba in the Langhe (80KM). Do not miss the path in the Infernot del Monferrato recognized as Unesco heritage: typical cellars where wine is still kept today (the first in the historic center of Ozzano). Monferrato is also famous for its wines, truffles to be tasted in the numerous wineries in the area. For history lovers, the area is known as the area with the highest concentration of Castles, each village in fact has its own castle, starting from the medieval Ozzano Monferrato, to the nearby San Giorgio (2km), to the Bulgari castle (8km) . Not to be missed is a visit to the smallest village in Europe, Moncalvo (5km) and to Serralunga di Crea, also a Unesco World Heritage Site (8.5km). For the little ones in the surroundings there are numerous water parks including the first tropical park in Italy (35km). For chocolate lovers a must is the town of Novi Ligure (rich in history between Liguria and Piedmont 58Km) and Alba in the Langhe (68KM). For shopping lovers, the famous largest Outlet in Europe is 70 km away, and on the way back, a stop in the cellars of Gavi is recommended!In October, Monferrato and the Langhe areas are populated by the famous wine and truffle festivals. Pls note that part of the house (on the side)is used as storage and not accessible. in all unesco heritage areas you will find separate waste collection. There are bins outside in the barn to help you separate your rubbish, but they must be taken away before you leave. You will find plastic, glass and paper on the slope to the left of the house. The wet waste should be left in the larger bin and placed in front of the house every second Friday evening (according to the calendar inside the house) on the street. 1km far from the house a electric car recharger is available Up to 2 dogs are allowed on the property. no cats are allowed on the property
