This lovely farmhouse is situated in a rural location whilst still easily accessible to the coast and major cities of the North West. This farmhouse boasts a large, splendid kitchen, an impressive farmhouse dining room to accommodate eight people, two multi fuel stoves and three large double bedrooms. The luxurious bathroom has underfloor heating and there is a convenient downstairs toilet and wash basin. The outside patio has a dining table and benches for outdoor entertaining. Dog friendly. All the rooms in this house are large and spacious and recently decorated. The dining room and living room have lovely parquet flooring and two of the bedrooms have exposed polished floorboards. All the beds have fabulous comfortable mattresses. There is plenty of room for coats and boots in the cloakroom area and we even provide dog beds if you want to bring two of your furry friends. The kitchen is well equipped with a double range cooker and hob, dish washer microwave and Maytag fridge freezer. The central granite island is perfect for breakfasts easily accommodating 4 to 6 people. Or if there are more of you, there is always the more formal, splendid oak dining table in the adjacent dining room. The utility room has a 9kg brand new washing machine and tumble dryer. Use is free of charge and washing powder is provided. The dining room has a multifuel stove providing a lovely atmosphere and plenty of heat - you probably won't need it! The living room is equipped with a new Esse multifuel stove which we love, even when it isn't really needed! The ambience it creates is amazing. There is a massive lounging Tetrad sofa and chair with plenty of room for 8 people. The massive television has broadband and access to Freeview and streamed television. There are three bedrooms, two with King sized beds and one with twin beds. Mattresses are super comfortable and the the twin beds are brand new. There are wardrobes in all rooms and dressing tables in both King rooms. Plenty of mirrors and two hair dryers. The bathroom is amazing with cosy underfloor heating and beautiful cast iron bath with claw feet, shower and hand wash basin. We have plenty of parking space for up to 4 cars. You do need a car to get around. There are nice places to eat in the nearby villages of Croston and Longton. We are less than an hour's drive to the lovely Ribble Valley or the Forest of Bowland. You can easily have a day trip to Yorkshire or the Lake District as we are only 5 miles away from the motorway network. Southport is 30 minutes away and Blackpool 45 minutes away. We live in a neighbouring house separate from Norris's Farm, but are available if needed. Set in a rural location, yet accessible to the beautiful Ribble Valley and Forest of Bowland. Only 5 miles from the motorway network and train station. Getting around is largely by car or bicycle. We are happy to accept dogs, but do have two dogs of our own so we do need to manage any mixing. We have an orchard, which we are happy for you to let your dogs run around in, provided they are supervised as we do also have horses and a cat. Please pick up dog poo. We are happy to welcome children over 12 years of age, provided that parents understand the safety considerations with multifuel stoves. We do provide guards for these. We do also have stairs to the first floor.
