I say no parties or events HOWEVER if you are visiting family and you are responsible guests.... there is a difference.. UD is 1 mile...Walk to the bike path. Our bike path is a real PERK. Runner? Run the neighborhood great hills lots of trees and beautiful homes.Our house is on the Oakwood border one of the most expensive area's in Dayton. We have found the area to be safe and great for walking, running and outdoor activities. You are close to Carillon Park, a famous park where the Wright Brothers 2nd actual plane is housed in an environmentally controlled building. 20 minutes from the airport, 15 minutes from WPAFB. There are several nice shopping malls and local restaurants we have in the booklet at the house for our guests or look at the AirBnB listing for local places to eat and visit . This area is called Southern Hills and is very close to Kettering Hospital as well as Miami Valley. Parking is so convenient to the house. Jumping on the highway to get to any major event is a breeze. Traffic in Dayton compared to other cities is minor. The address is Kettering or Dayton mailing address... so don't be confused....LOCATION. ..LOCATION . .....this home is NOT in city of Dayton just near the city nestled between Oakwood and Kettering .... I find the area safe when i am out at night. ..... City bus at corner of main street UD is 1 mile.The highway network is simple to use. This house is very close to 1-75 and 1-35 highways. Easy to navigate by GPS or maps. Air Force Museum is so close if you have time a must see. We have been to Washington DC and the air force museum in Dayton is far superior. ASK about the presidential planes AIR FORCE ONE as you must have a special ticket to go there with a limited number of visitors due to security. These planes interesting to see. There is bus transportation to get around if you do not have a car. NOTE please no smoking on the porch in the house on on the back porch.. Keep prices down tidy up before departing... we are always looking for new ideas to make your next stay great! share any ideas you have so we can implement! CLEAN is what we demand of ourselves in this home. If you are a smoker please consider only smoking in your car or perhaps choosing another property. We have many guests who need a clean environment for allergies so no smoking of any substance is permitted on the property at all. Please only park in front of our property. No outside activities or parties permitted I will be flexible for check in check out...just ask if you need specific times.
