Chiomonte is a charming village in the Susa Valley ideal for a quiet stay. In the village you will find a picture gallery, an archaeological area, a winery famous for the production of "ice wine", bars, typical restaurants and a chairlift that, when active, allows you to reach the Pian del Frais in 15 minutes ( a small ski resort very beautiful even in summer for walks in the middle of nature). Chiomonte can be reached in 50 minutes from Turin by train or car and is half an hour from the famous international ski resorts of Bardonecchia, Sauze d'oulx and Sestriere. Moreover, 5 km from Chiomonte, you will find the majestic Fort of Exilles. Free parking is located right in front of the building. At 100 m you can find another one always free of charge. If you do not arrive by car, the train is the most convenient way to get around as the station is 500m from the apartment. Within a 5-minute walk you can reach a small grocery store, bars and restaurants located in the small historic center.
