Eagle Rock Studio

Eagle Rock Studio is just minutes to Queanbeyan and Canberra and is the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the tranquil country outlook! The studio is fully self contained and separate from the main house. It has everything you need for a getaway - a comfortable queen sized bed, a kitchen with the basics, a comfortable living area with a TV, wifi and ceiling fans to keep you cool in the summer and fireplace to keep you toasty in the winter. The kitchen has all you need to prepare a light meal with a microwave, a small hot plate (with pots and a frying pan), a toaster, a sandwich press and fridge. The kitchen is stocked with a few essentials to make your stay more comfortable - full cream milk, bottled water, hot chocolate, assorted black and herbal teas, Nespresso coffee and decaf coffee pods, plus a bag of Byron Bay cookies to snack on! Ceiling fans in the bedroom and living area will keep you cool in the summer or snuggle up on the lounge in front of the fireplace in winter! Queanbeyan is an easy, quick 7 minute drive on fully sealed roads and has all the essentials you may need. The Canberra airport is also just a 13 minute drive away! Go a little further into Canberra and explore all the national treasures like Parliament House, the War Memorial and the National Gallery. If you like the outdoors why not take a walk around Lake Burley Griffin, the National Arboretum or the Botanic Gardens. Just minutes away from the cottage is the Cuumbeun Nature Reserve with a multitude of trails to explore. The roads to the studio are fully sealed, there is parking directly out the front of the studio and check in is via a keypad. Travelling in a truck, caravan or with a trailer? No problems, we can accommodate the parking The studio is self contained and separate to the main house. We are available if you need anything otherwise will leave you to enjoy the peace and quiet of Carwoola. Country space, peace and quiet yet still close to Canberra. The studio is not accessible by public transport but is only a short 5km drive from Queanbeyan CBD. It is 13 minutes from Canberra airport and 15-20 minutes to most of the major attractions in Canberra. The studio is self contained and separate from the main house, but we are available if you need us. The studio can accommodate a maximum of 2 children. A portacot is available for $15 a night and additional floor mattresses are available for $10 a night. Chances are you will encounter kangaroos, or if you're lucky, there are resident sugar gliders in the trees which can be viewed at dusk or dawn with luck and patience.
