Rustic Log Cabin in the Woods

A cozy but spacious, rustic Amish-built log cabin nestled in the woods. A wonderful place to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Two floors can accommodate up to 6 guests. 2 bedrooms with full beds on the main floor, and a sleeper sofa on the first floor). The kitchen is adorned with Amish-crafted red cedar cabinets, with the rest of the rooms accented with both locally-crafted and amish-made furniture. This place is truly the definition of warm, rustic ambiance. Enjoy a warm fire with friends either outside in the fire pit, or in the first floor with the windowed wood-burning stove. I provide the wood (red oak), so you will never be cold :). The sofa also converts into a full-sized sleeper! The main floor houses two bedrooms furnished each with a full-sized bed and large closets, a full bathroom, fully-equipped kitchen (dishwasher, stove, toaster, coffee grinder and maker, microwave, and refrigerator), dining room/den combo, and a very large balcony that is equipped with a standing propane heater and cushioned patio furniture so you can enjoy some stargazing on those chilly nights. The basement is a half-exposed/half-grade that also serves as the main entrance area with breezeway, laundry room, and a very cozy, rustic living/lounging area complete with a windowed wood-burning stove and additional wood rack. Unfortunately, the internet service provider I had been using up to this point had migrated plans and has become consistently unreliable, so I cancelled service. At the moment, I don't have available WiFi at the cabin, but am working diligently to find another solution. I will update this listing once I have a new provider/solution available. All spaces except for the garage. I have my truck parked in there, but can move the truck outside during the non-Summer months so guests will be able to park in the garage! I am remote but can always be contacted via-phone, text, or email. If there is an emergency, I have provided the needed contact information for local authorities. For maintenance issues, I can make myself available. ***PLEASE READ!!!*** Winters in Wautoma are quite rugged and snowy, and in order for guests to access the driveway during these months, I must have it plowed and salted each time it snows, which happens on average twice within each week between December and mid-March, and the grade of the driveway is extremely steep. Without salting, getting up the driveway is impossible. Because of this, along with heightened operating costs during the Winter, prices are adjusted a bit to accommodate regular driveway maintenance and firewood restocking for the wood-burning stove. My prices will drop back to regular levels in April. Thank you for understanding.
