Traditional 16th Century Inn, with oak beams and open fires tastefully furnished to a high standard whilst retaining its original features. Our rooms are currently be updated one by one but are all ensuite and are all clean and tidy. Our rooms are situated in the cottage garden and all have their own private access to come and go as you please. Room 2 our premium room has recently been refurbished, it is available for £90 double occupancy or £80 single occupancy and is situated in its own block away from the public house itself and in the country style gardens with its own private access overlooking the garden. This room has a comfortable double bed, with crisp Hotel bed linen and luxury fluffy towels with toiletries, 43inch App based flat screen TV, free wifi, tea and coffee making facilities. The ensuite has a shower cubicle (no bath) please book our other double Room 4, if you require a bath with shower over. Ironing facilities are available upon request as is a hair-dryer. In the pub itself just a few steps from your room you will find a bar and dining areas with a substantial menu on offer. The property offers free parking. Please note breakfast is not included in this price. A Continental Breakfast is available at an extra cost and is ideal for early starters as it is delivered to your door the evening before for you to enjoy in your room at your leisure. The property is located in a quiet residential area in the Hamlett of Shurton, the pub is the only amenity in the Hamlet but is less than a mile away from the Village of Stogursey or 5 miles from Cannington where there are local amenities, post office, local store etc. Otherwise you can travel approx 10 miles to Bridgwater or in the other direction to Minehead or Taunton all larger towns within easy access.
