Our home is just down the hill from downtown Doylestown where numerous restaurants, bars, shopping, parks, and museums await. A wonderful second floor loft bedroom with a king size tempurpedic bed, and shared bath await you. Free wifi. The abundance of good food, shopping and socializing available within walking distance makes this place unique. Guests will have access to the bedroom, second floor bath, kitchen, use of the stove and microwave, room in the frig with adequate notice, as well as access to the deck outside, and a parking space in front of the house if needed. Arrangements can be made to use the gym in the basement and the pool table. If you are bringing kids or babies, we do have a very old pack and play, and kids are welcome to sleep in the basement bedroom outfitted with a king size bed and a twin bed for an additional charge . We almost always try to make ourselves available to interact with our guest with enough notice. Plenty of grass, trees, clean sidewalks, parks, hiking, restaurants, bars, ice cream, farmers market on Sat, shopping. You never need to get in a car while you're here (if you're ok with walking up a big hill to get to State and Main, that is :). There are two rental car agencies 2 miles away, and bike rental .5 miles away. This is a great place to stay for the Pope's visit in Sept (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) , so easy to get to Philly, and away from the crowds when you need down time. Close to New Hope, Pa, Lambertville, NJ, New Britain, great hiking spots, skydiving, Ringing Rocks and High Rocks State Parks, Kids Castle, great shopping (tax free clothing), cycling paths, movie theatres, the Mercer Museum, Michener Art Museum, and more! We are 45 miles from Philly and 75 from NYC, in central bucks county. There is a Wawa and within 2 blocks walk, and a Starbucks .5 miles away. We have a dog, so you need to be ok with that, and two teen boys, and thus we ask you provide us with some details about yourself and your stay so we can make sure its a good fit for both of us. The bath is shared (though only in the overnight), as we have the kids use ours when we have guests. We have shampoo/conditioner/lotion for your use, as well as clean towels, a hairdryer, and a French press if you bring your own coffee.
